MIAMI, Fla. - The Texas State women's tennis team picked up a pair of singles victories in the final round of the FIU Invitational on Sunday morning at the Crandon Tennis Center.
Ana Perez won the consolation final match in the No. 1 singles bracket and Rishona Israel-Lewis won a third-place match in the No. 2 singles bracket.
Perez defeated Drake's Tess Herder by a score of 6-0, 6-4, while Israel Lewis won a three-set decision over Herder's teammate, Joely Lomas,4-6, 7-6 (3), 10-4.
