NASHVILLE, Tenn. / HOUSTON, Texas – Texas State saw a weekend full of breakthroughs for both the men's and women's track and field teams as they competed in Nashville, Tenn., at the Vanderbilt Invitational, one of the top meets across the country, and the Houston Invitational on the campus of the University of Houston.
"We had some great breakthroughs this weekend. We were able to execute what we wanted to do," said Jody Stewart, Director of Track and Field/Cross Country. "Our goal was to put the student-athletes in the best situation to execute, and they did it well.
