SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team blew away McMurry Wednesday night in Strahan Coliseum 100-50. It was the first time the Bobcats have reached triple digits since Dec. 3, 2011 against Houston Baptist and 57th time in program history.
With the victory, TXST improves to 5-4 on the season having won five of its last seven games. It was also the second time in the past two seasons that the Bobcats have won a game by 50 points.
The War Hawks took their only lead of the game when Darius Watts nailed a three-pointer on the opening possession of the game.
