SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State softball will open its 2025 season on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 5 pm as they host #14 Arkansas inside Bobcat Softball Stadium.
The Bobcats will host the Texas State Tournament starting on Thursday which runs through Sunday. Texas State will host Arkansas, Lipscomb, Bradley and San Diego in this tournament, playing one game against each.
Texas State, which is coming off a 47-win campaign and NCAA tournament appearance, was selected first in the Sun Belt Preseason Coaches' Poll and is receiving votes in the national polls.
The Bobcats will open the season with 16-straight home games.
