SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State senior golfers Clayton King and Wyatt Koricanek finished among the top 19 golfers at the 112th Texas Amateur Championship at the Midland Country Golf Club Sunday afternoon.
King finished the tournament with a seven-under-par 281 total through 72 holes on the par-72, 7,373-yard course. He had his best score in the championship on Sunday when he finished with a four-under-par 68. He also shot three-under-par in each of the second and third rounds.
Koricanek ended the Texas Amateur Championship in a three-way tie for 19th place at two-under-par after shooting a four-day total of 286 through 72 holes.
