JONESBORO, Ark. — The clock couldn't move fast enough for Danny Kaspar.
And that was before Thursday's pivotal tilt against Arkansas State even tipped off.
With his two best players — Emani Gant (hyperextended knee) and Ethan Montalvo (sprained ankle) banged up, both missed Tuesday's practice and were limited in Wednesday night's session, Kaspar wasn't sure what would happen when the senior duo laced them up inside the ASU Convocation Center for the real thing.
"You can't even imagine how nervous I was all day today," Kaspar said. "It looked like the clock was moving in slow motion.
