BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Bobcats are on top! The Texas State men put on a dominating performance to win the team's first conference indoor championship since 2004. The Bobcats men took the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championship with 127.5 points, 14 more than second-place UT Arlington. Meanwhile, the women fell just two points short of repeating as conference champions, finishing second to Appalachian State, but certainly made waves with their performances along the way.
"We always emphasize, 'Finish and competing tough,' and those guys did that. They came together. We have a senior-laden team, and they just did a great job executing and finishing well," said Jody Stewart, Director of Track and Field/Cross Country.
