SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State Baseball Head Coach Ty Harrington announced Wednesday the schedule for the 2017 season.
The Bobcats will open the 56-game campaign with a four-game home series Feb. 17-19 against Purdue. Texas State's first road contests are slated for Feb. 24-26 against Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
"We certainly have built a schedule that our fans, alumni and university expects our program to play," Harrington said. "Our schedule is filled with several ranked teams. We will also be traveling to numerous historic college baseball venues, along with having the opportunity to play the defending national champs in our own ballpark.
