SAN MARCOS, TX – Texas State softball returned to winning ways in 3-2 win over ULM on Friday night. It would be a Karmyn Bass homerun in the third inning that got the ball rolling for the result.
Jessica Mullins started out in the pitching circle with a four-pitch strikeout to start the game. The junior would go on to throw the 42nd complete game of her career on the night, putting her in the top-10 in school history for complete games.
After ULM goes three up, three down in the first three innings with four Mullins strikeouts, the Bobcats are able to find a way to break the deadlock.
