LAFAYETTE, La. – Finish the 31st Annual Louisiana Classics with a final round 74 to end the event at 1-over par 217 to finish tied for tied for 13th was freshman Chase Ambrose. The Texas State men's golf team ended up 10th with an 895.
Sitting at 2-over after the first nine holes, Ambrose recorded three straight birdies beginning on the second hole. He closed out with three pars and two bogies to finish his last nine holes. The Katy, Texas native finished tied with Nick Hardy (Illinois), Sean Meehan (UTSA) and Hayes Weathersby (Southern Miss).
