NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference released its men's golf all-conference teams on Thursday. Representing Texas State was freshman as an honorable mention selection.
The Katy, Texas native led the Bobcats with a 74.3 scoring average. He recorded three top 10 finishes with his best being sixth at the South Alabama Individual Tournament. The last two tournaments of the year (Jim West Intercollegiate and Sun Belt Conference Championships) saw him shoot a 54-hole season-low 214 on his way to tying for eighth at both.
Ambrose twice carded a season-low 67, tied for the ninth lowest round in program history in the modern era.
