ARLINGTON, TX — The Texas State softball program did not leave its bats in San Marcos for its season-ending series at UTA as the Bobcats tallied 11 runs on 14 hits in just five innings en route to beating UTA, 11-2, Thursday night.
"It was nice to see the top of the lineup set the tone early in the game, but we have to continue to work on driving in runners in key situations," said Texas State softball head coach Ricci Woodard. "I thought we showed the potential of doing just that in the top of the fifth with five two-out runs.
