Yerry very good on Monday morning

The Hickory Crawdads had a 10:30 a.m. EDT start this morning, and those who made it out for the matinee saw Yerry Rodriguez continue to miss bats for the ‘dads.

Yerry went 5 innings today, allowing 4 hits, 2 walks and 8 Ks, throwing 62 of his 94 pithces for strikes. The 21 year old righthander now has a 1.74 ERA on the season, with 44 Ks in 31 innings against 10 walks. Grant Anderson struck out 1 batter while working 2 hitless, walkless and scoreless innings for the save.

Jonathan Hernandez had one of those outings today for Frisco that underscores why many think he will end up in the bullpen.
