Yates to the Dodgers: 1 year, $13M

Related Topics: Kirby Yates, Los Angeles Dodgers

Kirby Yates and the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to terms on a one year, $13 million deal, per reports. Yates also has a potential $1 million in appearance incentives.

Yates has been one of the more interesting free agent cases. The Rangers signed him to a one year, $4.5 million deal after the Atlanta Braves declined their option on him. Yates responded with an excellent season, putting up a 1.17 ERA in 61.2 IP. Interestingly, that narrowly beat out his 2019 season for the best ERA he has put up — he had a 1.19 ERA in 60.
