ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Jake Diekman on Thursday allowed a walk, a home run, threw more balls than strikes and was charged with two runs in a loss at Seattle.
This represented progress.
For one, he got an out. For another, he got three of them.
"He was 10 times better," Rangers pitching coach Doug Brocail said.
