Tanner Scheppers, the forgotten man, will be the most important player among the Rangers' September call-ups.

Scheppers, a right-handed reliever, has spent the entire season on the disabled list after undergoing surgery on the left knee during spring training. His season consists of eight innings of relief work in the minor leagues in the last three weeks while on injury-rehabilitation assignment.
