They aren't seriously considering turf for the new park......are they?
Gerry Fraley: Yes, and that would be a huge mistake. The Rangers would have to change the type of player they build around, That would set back the prospect pipeline by several years. Plus, the turf would take a toll on their major-leaguers. it is an awful idea. As Tug McGraw said, if you can't smoke it, you can't play on it.
