ARLINGTON - In August, Josh Hamilton will get a plaque when the Rangers induct him into their Hall of Fame.
What he really deserves is a mural or a montage.
Oh, the August 17 ceremonies at which Hamilton and former Arlington mayor Richard Greene, instrumental in the getting the park that is soon to be vacated built, will be lovely. And the plaque presentation will be sweet. But you can’t capture Hamilton’s Rangers career in some words chiseled out of bronze.
Nobody has crammed more indelible moments in one franchise’s career into the five seasons Hamilton spent with the Rangers from 2008-12 and former 50 more games in a 2015 reunion.
