Nothing changes for the team in the short-term or really during the five-year agreement.
It is business as usual.
The biggest changes to the labor landscape were a gradual increase of the luxury tax threshold, which will go from $189 million to $195 million in 2017 on its way to about $210 million before the deal expires in 2021 and the significant reduction of draft pick compensation for players with qualifying offers.
