Dayton Moore, the Burt Cooper to Chris Young’s Don Draper, may be leaving his role as Young’s sounding board to run for governor of Kansas.
The Rangers have signed veteran shortstop Nick Ahmed to a minor league deal. Ahmed has won multiple gold gloves but hasn’t cracked a .600 OPS in two seasons or played in more than 72 games in a season since 2021.
Anthony Burger has compiled an All Underrated Team and Jake Burger made the cut at third base despite the fact that he probably won’t be playing third for the Rangers until Josh Jung gets a season ending injury in game 3 or 4 of the season
