Fangraphs has a post up discussing their updating their top 100 prospect list on The Board prior to Tuesday’s trade deadline. Generally speaking, at this point, my expectation with these lists is that Sebastian Walcott will be somewhere in the top 50, and otherwise, there will be no Texas Rangers on the list.
Walcott is, as expected, in the top 50 on this list — he checks in at #26, between Spencer Jones of the New York Yankees and Jacob Misiorowski of the Milwaukee Brewers.
However, the Rangers also have a second player in the top 100 — righthanded pitcher Alejandro Rosario, who is at #82 on the list.
