There’s not much out there following New Year’s Day but MLB dot com does rank the Texas Rangers No. 3 in their first power rankings of 2024.
Also, Nick Moyle of the San Antonio Express-News notes that San Antonio native Josh Jung was named the paper’s Sportsman of the Year after a rookie year that ended as a champion.
