The Texas Rangers start a four game series at home against the Boston Red Sox today, and with lefty David Price on the mound for the BoSox, Jeff Banister has righthanded hitters Ryan Rua and Renato Nunez in the lineup.
Also in the lineup is Robinson Chirinos, which is noteworthy mainly because he was out of the lineup yesterday, and with the Rangers having claimed catcher Carlos Perez on waivers, there was some speculation Chirinos might be d.l. bound.
The lineup:
DeShields -- CF
Choo -- DH
Kiner-Falefa — 2B
Mazara -- RF
Gallo — 1B
Profar — SS
Nunez — 3B
Chirinos — C
Rua — LF
Mike Minor is getting the start for Texas.
