It was a night of aces -- Noah Syndergaard outdueled Max Scherzer, Madison Bumgarner tossed a complete game, Clayton Kershaw was dominant, Danny Salazar lowered his ERA to 1.80 and Michael Pineda ... well, Michael Pineda is not an ace. Three things we learned:
1. Shawn Tolleson should be out as Texas Rangers closer. After the Rangers rallied to take the lead against the A's on Ian Desmond's home run in the top of the ninth, Tolleson gave it back on Khris Davis' walk-off grand slam, Davis' third home run of the game and eighth of May.
