Orioles 8, Rangers 4
- Yuck.
- A bad outing from the starter, an uninspired performance from the bullpen, and an offense that couldn’t get hits. A recipe for failure.
- Max Scherzer only went two innings, though he said that wasn’t due to injury, it was arm fatigue and a general lack of stuff. With four runs allowed, he put the Rangers in a quick hole.
- Jose Urena, Jacob Latz, Daniel Robert and Jose Leclerc combined for the other seven innings and allowed four runs, which isn’t great if your goal is to stay within striking distance.
