Thoughts on a doubleheader split

That was a long day of baseball which included some significant divergences in regards to feelings. I don’t even know what thoughts there are to have about today. There was an ugly demoralizing loss where the offense took a powder and Nathan Eovaldi needed 84 pitches to go through three innings before getting pulled due to soreness in his side. There was a really nice win that saw the offense rack up a whole bunch of runs. The first game was unpleasant on a whole host of levels. The second game was fun, and helped wash the taste of the ugly loss out of our mouths.
