White Sox 9, Rangers 7
- We talked earlier this week about Dane Dunning’s success this year, and how he has succeeded by junking his four seamer and commanding his sinker and slider very well. This was an example of what happens when Dunning’s command is poor.
- Dunning kept the White Sox off the board for the first two innings, though he walked a pair, which is out of character. Things then fell apart in the third, as the White Sox batted around, Dunning gave up 7 hits, and Chris Woodward turned to Kolby Allard to get the final out of the inning.
