Cubs 7, Rangers 0
- Ugh. Gross.
- I am not a fan of cold weather. I do not believe it is acceptable for it to get below, I don’t know, 55 degrees or so. So the idea of playing baseball in temperatures hovering around the freezing mark seems extremely unpleasant.
- The Rangers appeared to think so, too.
- Nathan Eovaldi never seemed to really get comfortable on the mound. His velocity was down a couple of ticks, and he needed 87 pitches to get through 4.2 innings of work. The Cubs stole four bases on him as well.
