Rangers 6, Cardinals 3
- Triumph in St. Louis!
- 13 hits? 13 hits. That’s good.
- With a couple of errors and a couple of walks thrown in, its enough to make you think the Rangers should have scored more than 6 runs, but I guess we shouldn’t be greedy, particularly since a number of the hits were of the infield or weakly hit variety.
- Nathan Eovaldi gave the Rangers a Quality Start, though it ended up just barely being so despite his largely having hummed along throughout the game. Through six innings he had allowed three hits, all in the third inning, when Paul Goldschmidt singled ahead of a Matt Carpenter homer, then Masyn Winn had a one out single to center.
