Thoughts on a 6-1 Rangers win

Rangers 6, Astros 1

• Its much easier to do “Thoughts” posts for earlier start games.
• Its also much easier to do “Thoughts” posts after wins. I prefer writing about good things, and it is much less of a chore to talk about the game after a win.
• Kyle Gibson went six scoreless innings today. It was the second time in his last three starts that he didn’t allow a run. Of course in that other start he allowed 8 runs in 4 innings, which kind of offsets to a degree the two scoreless starts, but hey, Gibson ends the season on a high note.
