- This is the fifth time in team history the Rangers have won at least 8 of their first 10 games in a season, along with 1989, 1996, 2011, and 2012.
- And unlike in 2011 and 2012, where it felt like they were setting the league on fire and might be the best team in the American League, this team is not currently creating that kind of vibe, at least with me. The fact that the Rangers have a negative run differential probably has something to do with it.
