ARLINGTON -- As spring training officially ended for the Rangers on Tuesday with a rainout, it's important to note that two things about Adrian Beltre have not changed since the start of camp:
-- He still thinks there are players available on the free agent market who could help the Rangers.
-- More importantly, he's in the same physical condition as when he reported to camp back in February.
While the Rangers are thrilled about the latter, it does not appear they are going to do anything about the former. On Tuesday, Beltre observed the Rangers still haven't announced a closer for the season and that there is one available on the interminably slow free agent market, which has lingered through March.
