The Baseball Prospectus top 101 prospect list includes four Rangers minor leaguers

The Baseball Prospectus Top 101 Prospect List for 2019 is out, and the Texas Rangers have four players who cracked the list.

Outfielders Leody Taveras and Bubba Thompson are the top two Rangers on the list, sitting back-to-back at the back end of the top 50, with Leody checking in at #47 and Bubba at #48.

Taveras and Thompson will likely both start the 2019 season at high-A Down East, where they will likely be joined by the #78 prospect on the BP list, center fielder J.P. Martinez. With three top 100 center field prospects in one outfield, Down East should be a fun team to watch, and its not out of the question one or more of these guys could end up in Frisco before 2019 is up.
