Texas Rangers trade rumors: Matt Moore, Tampa Bay Rays pitcher, is the subject of ongoing trade discussions between the Rays and the Rangers, according to Jon Morosi on Twitter. Morosi does says that nothing is "imminent," and so this could be just tire-kicking, or something more serious.
The Rays are currently in free-fall and appear to be in sell mode, with Moore being one of several pitchers, along with Jake Odorizzi and Drew Smyly, that they are reportedly listening on. Moore was, at one time, one of the top prospects in all of baseball, a lefty who was viewed as having legit #1 starter potential before injuries de-railed him the previous couple of years.
