Texas Rangers to retire Michael Young's No. 10 on Aug. 31

Michael Young's turn has arrived.

The Texas Rangers on Tuesday announced that they will retire Young's No. 10 in a pregame ceremony Aug. 31, news that comes less than two weeks after the club retired Adrian Beltre's No. 29 at Globe Life Park.

The Texas Rangers will retire Michael Young’s uniform number 10 in a pre game ceremony on Saturday, August 31 when club plays the Seattle Mariners. He will be the fifth Ranger to have his number retired. Congratulations

Young, a 14-year veteran of Major League Baseball, played parts of 13 seasons in Texas (2000-12) and currently serves as special assistant to Rangers general manager Jon Daniels.
