Trevor Bauer entered Saturday night’s game against the Texas Rangers with a 2.40 ERA. He’d been one of the better pitchers in baseball here in 2021 (following his Cy Young winning season the year prior), and his presence in Los Angeles was already having Dodgers fans thinking about back-to-back World Series wins.
The Rangers, on the other hand, were not feeling so great.
