Most of the Texas Rangers rumors this off-season have been about pitching. While that is important, Texas should also focus on filling the hole that Carlos Gomez left in the Arlington outfield.
Right now the Rangers outfield is Nomar Mazara and Delino DeShields. Expect Shin-Soo Choo to play plenty of DH in 2018. Willie Calhoun, Ryan Rua, and Drew Robinson have unclear roles up to this point.
Obtaining outfielder Jon Jay should be at the top of the to-do list for the Rangers this winter.
