Texas Rangers Drop Second Game In A Row

AJ Griffin got the start on the mound for the Texas Rangers as they looked to bounce back after a loss to division rival, the Los Angeles Angels, on Sunday. Griffin, who is coming back from Tommy John surgery, was looking to improve his stock in the Rangers pitching picture as we get closer to the 2016 Regular Season. Griffin took the loss for Texas on Monday however, throwing 2.2 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 1 walk.

Reliever, Cesar Ramos, was the only other Ranger pitcher to allow runs on the day giving up the other 2 of Cleveland’s runs in his 2 innings of work where he surrendered 3 hits, walked 2 and had a pair of strikeouts.
