As the Texas Rangers continue their Spring Training journey, they rolled the Cincinnati Reds to continue their hot streak. Chi Chi Gonzalez started the game for the Rangers and pitched 3 innings giving up no runs on 3 hits and 2 walks. This is a great outing for Gonzalez who is on a quest to lockdown the fifth spot in the pitching rotation for Texas. Gonzalez showed good use of the sinker producing effective and efficient ground balls.
Lefty Cesar Ramos, also a contender for that fifth spot in the rotation, pitched for Texas on Wednesday. He threw 3 scoreless innings as well and gave up only 1 hit.
