Texas Rangers Bounce Back Against Brewers

Pitcher Jeremy Guthrie got the start on the mound for Texas making his second appearance of Spring Training. In his first appearance, Guthrie came out of the bullpen against Oakland throwing 2 shutout innings giving up only 2 hits. With that, he looked to build in his first start with the Rangers. Against the Brewers, Guthrie threw 2 innings giving up 1 run on 1 hit and striking out 3. All in all, that’s a good outing for the new Ranger as he looks to increase his opportunities in Texas’ pitching system heading into 2016.

Nick Tepesch picked up the win for Texas, coming out of the bullpen, in his third appearance of Spring Training.
