ARLINGTON -- Nick Martinez was asked Monday if his switching back and forth between starter and reliever was hard, and he replied, "If you let it be hard."
The Rangers have been pushing the power of positive thinking, and Martinez was a sparkling example Tuesday night. The 26-year-old right-hander allowed one run and two hits through 5 1/3 inning en route to a 6-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.
It was a big night for Martinez, who won just his second game of the season and moved his record to 2-3, and also for the Rangers, who finally put a stop to Toronto's domination of Arlington in recent years.
