The New York Yankees are acquiring outfielders Juan Soto and Trent Grisham from the San Diego Padres in exchange for Michael King, Drew Thorpe, Jhony Brito, Randy Vasquez and Kyle Higashioka, per reports.
Soto has been the subject of rumors all offseason. The 25 year old superstar is entering his walk year, and with the San Diego Padres coming off a disappointing year, looking to cut salary, and not likely to sign him long term, the expectation was that he would be moved this winter.
