Free agent outfielder Anthony Santander and the Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to terms on a contract, per multiple reports. No word yet on the terms of the deal.

Santander, a 30 year old switch hitter, was originally signed by Cleveland in 2011, and was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2016 Rule 5 Draft. Santander got irregular playing time until 2022, when he became the Orioles’ regular right fielder. Over the past three seasons he has slashed .244/.317/.478 while putting up an 8.2 bWAR.

The Jays have spent the offseason looking for ways to try to be aggressive and improve, most notably being one of the finalists for Roki Sasaki.
