Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager left Wednesday’s game in the bottom of the second inning due to injury. The injury occurred when Seager was running to first on an RBI single. The replay showed him grab at his left hamstring on his way to the base.
Seager did not initially leave the game, but after the next batter, Josh Smith, got to 0-2 in the count, Bruce Bochy came out with the trainer to first base. After a brief conference, Seager left the game. Ezequiel Duran entered as a pinch runner, and was promptly picked off for the third out of the inning.
