While I personally would love to see Manny Machado as the third baseman of the future for the Texas Rangers, a more realistic option may have to be considered. Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reported that Texas is maintaining contact with a couple of free agent infielders as they look to replace the future Hall of Famer, Adrian Beltre, at the position.
Grant reports that Texas is interested in former Pirates infielder Josh Harrison as well as Yangervis Solarte who most recently played for Toronto.
Josh Harrison
Josh Harrison is a name Texas has been connected to earlier this offseason and represents a well-known utility infielding option.
