Rout puts quite a strain on Rangers' bullpen

"We'll evaluate it, see where we are and see who is available," Rangers manager Jeff Banister said.

Wandy Rodriguez could be one victim because he couldn't give the Rangers what they needed as a long reliever. Phil Klein might be another because he did give the Rangers three innings in relief. He also pitched two innings on Monday and has thrown 87 pitches over two days. He is going to be down for at least two to three days after falling on his sword for the Rangers.

All of this is because second baseman Rougned Odor broke the wrong way on what could have been a momentum-stopping double-play grounder and Martin Perez could not get anybody out in the second inning.
