The Rangers have agreed to a deal with free-agent pitcher Kyle Lohse, according to Jon Heyman of the MLB Network.
Heyman reported earlier that the Rangers were interested in bringing Lohse in on a minor-league deal.
The 37-year-old last pitched for the Milwaukee Brewers in 2015, going 5-13 with a 5.85 ERA in 22 starts (37 games total). He posted 108 strikeouts to 43 walks.
Loshe pitched against the Rangers in Game 3 of the 2011 World Series when he was with St. Louis. He gave up three earned runs in three innings and got a no-decision.
