SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The Rangers pitchers officially reported for work Wednesday.
And reported. And reported. And so on.
In all, there will be 37 guys in camp for the first workout Thursday. That is, if the number doesn't expand to 38 by the time the Rangers take the field. They haven't yet announced the signing of reliever Seung Hwan Oh but are expected to do so now that they can place another player on the 60-day DL and not risk losing him to waivers. And we haven't even talked about the glut of free agents still out there, one or two of whom could find their way to Surprise.
