Rays', Rangers' benches clear after hard tag

ST. PETERSBURG -- Tempers overheated just slightly in the bottom of the fourth inning of the Rangers-Rays game Saturday on a play that also had to be reviewed through instant replay.

When everything was settled, Rays shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera seemed to be at peace with Rangers second baseman Adam Rosales. He was also safe at second base.

It all started after Cabrera doubled with one out in the fourth against Rangers starter Ross Detwiler. With Tim Beckham at the plate, Detwiler missed with his first pitch and catcher Robinson Chirinos fired down to second base on a pick-off attempt.
