The annual Texas Rangers Winter Caravan will begin Jan. 12 in Waco with the first of 12 stops that will run through Feb. 3.
Among the players who have agreed to appear Academy Sports & Outdoors stores are right-handed relievers Tony Barnette, Matt Bush, Sam Dyson and Tanner Scheppers; catchers Robinson Chirinos and Brett Nicholas; outfielders Delino DeShields, Shin-Soo Choo and Jared Hoying; infielders Joey Gallo and Will Middlebrooks; and starting pitchers Andrew Cashner, Chi Chi Gonzalez and A.J. Griffin.
Also included are events at the Rangers’ Triple A affiliate in Round Rock on Jan. 17 and with the Double A team in Frisco on Jan.
